MISS TEXAS 2026
KATHERINE COLIG
Katherine Colig is a true Texan-at-heart, having called Dallas home for the past 14 years. A licensed CPA in the Great State of Texas, she currently works as a Senior Internal Auditor for a financial services firm in the Dallas area. Katherine is a proud alumna of Southern Methodist University (SMU), where she earned her BBA in Accounting, BA in Psychology, and Masters’ of Science in Accounting.
Growing up as the daughter of someone who struggled with alcoholism, Katherine witnessed firsthand the profound impact addiction can have on families. Her experience inspired her to create her platform, Above The Influence: Uplifting the Families and Children of Those Struggling With Alcoholism. She also serves as a national ambassador for Shatterproof, a nonprofit dedicated to breaking the stigma surrounding addiction and providing resources to those affected. Through her advocacy, Katherine is committed to fostering hope, strength, and support for individuals and families navigating similar journeys.
As USOA Miss Texas, Katherine is committed to transforming her experiences into purpose — empowering others, inspiring resilience, and uplifting her community through meaningful change.
When she’s not crunching numbers or giving back to her community, Katherine can be found in a group fitness class, crafting charcuterie boards for her friends and family, or spending time with her best friend – her cat, Mini. Recently signed with MMG in New York, she is excited for this next chapter as she continues to pursue opportunities in modeling while proudly serving as USOA Miss Texas.
